Tule je par strani, sicer v angleščini, ki pišejo o tem, katera vprašanja je dobro postaviti vzreditelju našega bodočega kužka in na kaj moramo biti pozorni, da zares izberemo dobrega vzreditelja:

• How long have they been breeding Maltese?
• What breeds do you have?
• How old are the puppies when they get to go to their new homes?
• Are they paper trained or litter trained when they go home?
• Are the dogs kept in your home or in kennels?
• How much is a male and how much is a female?
• What type of food do you feed your dogs and puppies?
• What potential genetic problems are inherent in Maltese?
• Have the puppy’s parents been free of these defects?
• Do you compete with your dogs in conformation trials, obedience trials, or tracking and agility trials?
• Does the Maltese breeder participate in the rescue of abandoned and owner-relinquished Maltese?
• What temperament problems can be encountered? Is it an easy breed to train and housebreak?
• Do they have shot records? Are they documented?
• Did the Maltese breeder require you to visit the premises where the mother dog and the litter of puppies reside, so that you can see how they're raised and cared for?
• Could you please give me some references of other families who have purchased puppies from you?
• What type of contract, conditions or guarantees are involved in the sale of the Maltese puppy?
Reputable Maltese breeders will provide a written contract/guarantee with a spay/neuter requirement and limited registration for any pet puppies. They do not sell breeding animals to pet homes.
• Do you have a written contract and health guarantee? Look for a health guarantee that is more then just a few days.
• Does the breeder insist that all non-show-quality puppies for sale be spayed/neutered at the appropriate age and not be allowed to produce puppies of their own?
• Do they have an agreement to take or buy the dog back, should this ever become necessary? Will they put it in writing?

Anja super vprašanja si napisala in res si na ta način pridobiš mnenje  .Jaz bi dodala samo nap.če se ukvarjajo več let ali imajo doma tudi starejše pse ali jih dajo stran ,ko ne služijo več namenu.
